Do You Love Money? We do! That answer might surprise you...so here's why. It's silly for us to think that anything we do not love will stick around and be with us for very long. Money is made of the same energy we are; so it simply magnifies how we see ourselves and others. We love money because we get it to benefit ourselves AND others, together.
Many people hold conflicting beliefs about money, such as:
People make money in one two ways:
Competition: This is the common way people go about making money. The negative statements about money are true when people choose this approach. Let's pretend we sit down for lunch and the only thing on the table for us to eat is a cracker and a piece of pie. Suppose that one of us quickly grabs the piece of pie, and says, "Dear sweet sisters, I love you very much; I do wish you had some pie also," and then she swallows it, and leaves two of us with the cracker to share.
We have watched people approach business in this way, saying one thing but only focused on what's in it for themselves; or by holding back information and trying to keep secret their sources and such. While it appeared to work for a time, hindsight shows that much more money could have been made by collaborating with interested parties.
Some people get caught up in a scarcity mindset and start to think that to get something, they need to take it from another. These same people generally think the supply of resources on this planet is limited so if one person has more that than 'their share', another goes without. This is not our truth. We see that there is more than enough for everyone...and if anything runs out, more will be created and come into our awareness. We see money like the piece of pie. If we love our sisters, we will love them like we love ourselves. What we attempt to do get for ourselves we will attempt to get for our sisters, for all those around us.
Creative:
The creative method is when we make money for ourselves, all those involved benefit and are lifted to greater heights for having participated. A ladder is always put down behind a person performing a successful act so others can use it to climb up as well and experience that success. We certainly prefer the feelings of abundance and contribution that happens using the creative method, rather than feelings of fear and anxiety that come from competition. How It Really Works: It might appear that there is a limited amount of beach front real estate and to get a prime spot, a person would need to take it from another. However, change is one of the only constants in this world. So even in this case we know that circumstance of current owners will change and we will be a great blessing to them in purchasing their property. In this process, our job is to be grateful, hold the vision and intention of buying a prime spot on the beach, and to prepare so we have something of equal value to exchange for their beautiful beach front property as it comes available. We can do more to improve our own lives, those in our community, and people throughout the world by having the means to make the biggest impact, and obtaining it using the creative method. |

The Science of Getting Rich![]() This first book was published in 1910 by Elizabeth Towne and speaks of wealth in all areas of life. It was a major inspiration to Rhonda Byrne and was the book she was referring to in her film, The Secret (2006).
"To become really rich is the noblest aim you can have in life, for it includes everything else. On the competitive plane, the struggle to get rich is a Godless scramble for power over other men; but when we come into the creative mind, all this is changed. All that is possible in the way of greatness and soul unfoldment, of service and lofty endeavor, comes by way of getting rich... You can serve God and man in no more effective way than by getting rich; that is, if you get rich by the creative method and not by the competitive one." "...look upon the world as a something which is Becoming, which is growing; and to regard seeming evil as being only that which is undeveloped."
The Science of Being Well![]() Also published in 1910, this book shares that a person can experience perfect health (including being at the optimal weight) if he/she properly performs the voluntary functions of health: eating, drinking, breathing, and sleeping.
"Health is the result of thinking and acting in a Certain Way; and if a sick man begins to think and act in this Way, the Principle of Health within him will come into constructive activity and heal all his diseases." The Science of Being Great![]() This third book was published in 1911 and clearly shows the way how men, women, and children can make the most of themselves. That the main component of any truly great person does not come from the mere reading of books, but it is by thought.
"No amount of education, reading, or study can make you great without thought..." "He must form a mental conception of himself at the highest, and hold this conception until it is his habitual thought-form of himself. This thought-form he must keep continuously in view. He must outwardly realize and express that thought-form in his actions. He must do everything that he does in a great way. In dealing with his family, his neighbors, acquaintances, and friends, he must make every act an expression of his ideal. The man who reaches the right viewpoint and makes full consecration, and who fully idealizes himself as great, and who makes every act, however trivial, an expression of the ideal, has already attained to greatness." |
